If You Love Chocolate, You Will Love These YouAnew Chocolate Coconut Sugar Cookies!
What you’ll need
Canola Oil Spray
1 Cup Melted Coconut Oil (try Spectrum Organics)
1 Cup of Coconut Sugar (try Sweet Tree Coconut Palm)
1/2 Cup Dark Chocolate/Cocoa (unsweetened)
1/3 Cup Unsweetened Apple Sauce
1 tsp Salt
2 Tablespoons Vanilla
2 Cups Gluten Free Flour Mix (try Bob’s Red Mill or Arrowhead Mills)
1/4 Cup GROUND Flax
1 Tsp Baking Soda
1 1/2 Tsp Xanthan Gum (note: if you are using whole wheat flour or a gluten free mix that already contains Xanthan, omit this ingredient)

We enjoyed our time at Yankee Stadium and are excited to share our YouAnew spin on the day!! I often get questions about what to eat at ballgames. Most venues offer the good, the bad and the ugly. I want to take a few minutes to identify the best choices and point out the worst of the worst.
My dad is quite the picky eater whose grilled cheese ingredients would include buttered Wonder Bread, well-done bacon, and Kraft slices! Not exactly the health conscious way to prep this family favorite. I am so excited to report that he LOVED every bite of my YouAnew grilled cheese twists. For people with food sensitivities, grilled cheese (with its floury bread, gobs of butter and oozing cheese) doesn’t usually make it onto the menu. But those with sensitivities shouldn’t be left out! I decided to make a fabulous gluten and dairy free alternative anyone will love.
